Ind-Expo Certification (Pvt.) Ltd., a non-profit making certification organisation, established by the Ceylon National Chamber of Industries (CNCI) and the National Chamber of Exporters (NCE) has scheduled two training programmes with the objective enhancing efficiency and productivity of industries operating in Sri Lanka.
Ind-Expo’s plan is to provide an understanding the implementation procedures of 5S concept and two day workshop on ISO 22000: 2005 Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS) internal auditor, on 16 September, and 29 & 30 September, 2011 respectively.
The 5S programme has been designed to impart the knowledge on the implementing strategies of 5S concept and apply the same in the productivity improvement in the organisation. Nimal Perera, Chairman, Ind-Expo will be conducting this programme, who is one of the senior judges in the Japanese Akimoto 5S competition.
Whereas the ISO 22000: 2005 FSMS internal auditor training programme has been designed to familiarise food safety auditors in the principles and practices specific to auditing as per ISO 19011, including planning and preparation of the audit, audit practices, and reporting audit findings. This programme will be conducted by a qualified lead auditor who has held a senior position in the public sector with many years of experience in Management Systems Certification including Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS) and an experienced resource person.
