Wijeya Newspapers has renewed its collaboration with the FCCISL’s Sri Lankan ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ Awards Programme for the eighth consecutive year, joining in as the exclusive ‘Print Media Partner’ for this prestigious event.

This annual awards scheme been held for the 15th consecutive year is designed especially to distinguish, reward and motivate Sri Lanka’s very own entrepreneurs to reach the mantle of achievement whilst contributing towards the national economy.

The promotional aspect of the programme will benefit immensely with the publicity provided through the newspapers of the group, in the Sinhala and English print media, currently enjoying the widest circulation in the country.

Wijeya Newspapers will offer extensive coverage of the programme and related events, especially the provincial award presentations taking place covering nine provinces.

They will also be involved in covering the grand finale, the national show, as on previous occasions.

In addition to the coverage, Wijeya Newspapers will supplement it further by way of arranging ‘special paper supplements’ relating to the regional and national events.

It is also noteworthy that FCCISL has been successful in attracting Wijeya Newspapers to support the program on a continuous basis owing to the credibility of the event, the endorsement of which is seen by their participation as print media partners.

The programme was launched on 20 September 2010 and application forms for the event are now available at the FCCISL Secretariat situated at Vauxhall Lane, Colombo 2, and provincial/district chambers islandwide. Applications could also be downloaded from www.entrepreneur.fccisl.lk as well.
