SLFP to participate in all-party discussion tomorrow

The Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) today confirmed that it will take part in tomorrow’s discussions with the President.

“We will participate in the discussion tomorrow,” SLFP General Secretary Dayasiri Jayasekara told the Daily FT.

He said the decision was arrived at after several rounds of discussions with all independent parties today.

All party discussion is scheduled for tomorrow, chaired by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa to form an interim Government.

Previously SLFP said it will not take part in any discussion with Gotabaya Rajapaksa-led Government after its party members, Shantha Bandara and Suren Ragavan accepted Ministerial portfolios.
