Prima announces highest ever flour price hike

Prima Ceylon Ltd., dealers informed today that the price of wheat flour has been increased by a record Rs. 42 per kilo.

They said it was the highest ever price hike. The previous hike was Rs. 17.50 per kilo in November last year.

The latest hike mcomes hot on the heels of the Rupee depreciating by 30% as well as rise in other costs.
