Prasanna Ranatunga named new Chief Govt. Whip

Gampaha District MP and Tourism Minister Prasanna Ranatunga has been appointed as the Chief Government Whip.

He will replace Johnston Fernando who was stripped of his ministerial portfolio in the cabinet reshuffle by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa this morning .

Dinesh Gunawardane will continue as Leader of the House.
