UGC to support COVID-19-inspired innovations of undergraduates

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has requested vice-chancellors of universities and directors of affiliated institutes to take necessary action to support aspiring innovations of students during the COVID-19 outbreak.

The UGC said it would assist through limited financial resources to finance the needs of the student proposals recommended by the universities.

The program is to encourage university students towards innovative solutions to tackle the needs to deal with the current COVID-19 crisis.

The proposed projects will be supervised by the members of the academic staff.
