Two new COVID-19 patients have been identified today, the Health Ministry said, bringing the total number of cases to 707.
One of the new patients is a member of the Navy, who was stationed at the Welisara Navy Camp, Health Services Director General Dr. Anil Jasinghe said in a statement. A total of 184 people have been discharged after recovering from the virus.
The Government has also conducted a total of 25,206 PCR tests to date, including 1,681 on Saturday, which was the highest daily number of PCR tests carried out in Sri Lanka.
