Power and Energy Minister Mahinda Amaraweera today handed over two polymerase chain reaction (PCR) machines to the Health and Indigenous Medical Services Ministry to be used for the testing of COVID-19 patients.
The machines are worth Rs. 23 million and have been brought down on a request made by the Sri Lanka Atomic Energy Board, which comes under the purview of the Power and Energy Ministry.
