Tourist guides licence fee for 2021 to be waived: SL Tourism

The annual tourist guides licence fee for all four categories, namely National, Chauffeurs, Area and Site Guides will be waived off for the year 2021, Sri Lanka Tourism announced today.

This will be be valid for guides who have renewed their licence until the year 2019.

Guides who have not renewed their licence can avail themselves of the relief measure by paying the previous year’s fee.

The decision to extend this relief measure any further will be reviewed in 2021, Chairman SLT Kimarli Fernando said in a press release.
