Three arrested for assaulting Rukmalpitiya Postmaster

The Police will present three suspects before the Walasmulla Magistrates Courts on charges of assault today, after they were arrested for assaulting the Postmaster of the Rukmalpitiya Post Office.

The three persons, who are residents of Katuwana, are alleged to have attacked the Postmaster while he was distributing Government grants to a group of disabled persons in Dangalakanda, Katuwana. The three suspects, aged 26, 27, and 28 years old, were arrested by the Katuwana Police.
