SL records 10th death due to COVID-19

A 51-year-old COVID-19-infected woman died at Trincomalee quarantine centre today, becoming the 10th fatality of the novel coronavirus.

The deceased was a heart patient and had arrived from Kuwait recently, Health Services Director General Dr. Anil Jasinghe said.

The last COVID-19 death was reported on 6 May.
