Relief for pregnant women Police personnel and those with small children

The DIG Central Province has instructed heads of all police stations coming under his preview to ensure that women Police personnel who are pregnant or have young children are provided necessary relief.

DIG Central Province Roshan Fernando sent out the instructions yesterday to all Police divisions in the area as well as OICs of all the Police stations asking them to treat such cases humanely and take necessary measures to give the women officers necessary relief.
