New Govt. program launched to provide dry rations to public

The Co-operative Development Department today launched a program titled ‘Wait at home until we arrive’ in the Western Province to distribute dry rations from house to house.

The program will be implemented in all 38 multipurpose co-operative societies in the Western Province and the public can pick from bundles of goods priced Rs. 500 and Rs. 1,000.

Arrangements have also been made for people to place orders over the phone and have them delivered to their houses.
