National STD/AIDS Control Program services to continue despite curfew

Special measures have been implemented to provide care through clinics that come under the National STD/AIDS Control Program during curfew and the central clinic located in Colombo will be open from 8 a.m. to 12 noon from Monday to Saturday.

Patients can use the text messages sent by the National STD/AIDS Control Program in lieu of a curfew pass, the Health Promotion Bureau said in a statement issued today.

In addition to this, patients can visit the clinic closest to them if they are unable to visit the clinic they have been appointed.
