Four more COVID-19 cases bring total to 242

Four persons have tested positive for COVID-19 today, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 242.

Speaking at a press conference, Health Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi said that the three who tested positive for the virus this morning were interned at the Punani quarantine center.

According to Director General of Health Services Dr. Anil Jasinghe, 530 PCR tests were performed today, while seven patients who recovered from the virus were discharged.
