Fisheries industry to continue operations despite curfew

The fisheries industry can continue operations even when curfew is imposed and all fisheries-related activities, including the transportation of fish, can continue without interruption.

The decision was made by the Government following a discussion held today where members of the fishing community appealed to the Government. Transport Services Management Minister Mahinda Amaraweera was also present at the meeting.
