A special SriLankan Airlines flight will be dispatched to pick up the students and bring them home. The students will then be directed to quarantine centres for two weeks, the Minister added.
The Government has been receiving multiple appeals from Sri Lankans working overseas over the last two weeks to be brought back to the country.
The Foreign Relations Ministry has been coordinating with the respective high commissions and embassies in those countries to ensure that Sri Lankans remain safe.
