Fire at Kurunegala Hospital medicine storage facility extinguished

The fire which broke out at a medicine storage facility in the Kurunegala Hospital around 11 a.m. this morning has been extinguished.

The Kegalle Municipality Fire Department had responded with two fire engines and put out the fire with the assistance of the Police.

No loss of life or injuries have been reported.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined and the Kurunegala Police division is investigating the matter, the Police Media Unit said in a press release.
