Curfew for high risk areas extended till Monday

The Government today announced revamped curfew schedules extending curfew in high risk areas till 27 April, the President’s Media Division (PMD) said in a statement. Curfew in the districts of Colombo, Gampaha, Kalutara and Puttalam has been extended to 5 a.m. on Monday, 27 April.

Night-time curfew in non-high risk areas will be enforced only till Friday. The PMD said 24-hour curfew will be imposed countrywide over the weekend.

Travel between the districts of Colombo, Gampaha, Kalutara and Puttalam is strictly prohibited.
