CSE to resume trading on Monday

The Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) announced today it will re-open for trading on Monday. The stock market last traded on 20 March.

In a statement, the CSE said, in view of the decision made by the Government that both public and private sector entities in the districts of Colombo, Gampaha, Kalutara and Puttalam should re-commence work from 11th May 2020, trading on the CSE will resume on Monday.

The Trading hours will be as follows:

Pre-open session - 10.30 a.m. to 11.00 a.m.

Open Auction - 11.00 a.m.

Regular Trading - will commence immediately after the Open Auction

Market close - 1.00 p.m.
