The number of confirmed cumulative cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) increased by 11 to 210 yesterday, according to the Health Promotion Bureau.
All 11 new persons were those who had associated with previously confirmed COVID-19 infected persons and were at quarantine centres.
The number of active cases, however, is 147 with 56 recovered and seven dead.
The Bureau said 154 persons are currently under observation for COVID-19 in hospitals.
The Government said last week, 1,455 persons remain in 12 quarantine centres managed by the armed forces.
Health Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi is optimistic that the Government can identify all COVID-19 patients by 19 April.
