Nine new COVID-19 patients have been identified today, bringing the total number of cases in Sri Lanka to 856. Of the nine new patients, six are navy personnel, and two were returnees from Dubai who were undergoing quarantine at one of the Government-maintained centres, the Government Information Department said in a short statement.
A total of 321 people have been discharged after recovering from the virus. According to the statement, 1,424 PCR tests were carried out on Saturday.
