24 new COVID-19 patients were diagnosed today, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 795.
Three patients were Navy personnel from the Welisara camp, Health Services Director General Dr. Anil Jasinghe said in a statement. There are currently 571 active cases.
A total of 1,491 PCR tests were carried out on Tuesday, while 215 people have been discharged after recovering from the virus.
