11 new COVID-19 patients identified today

Eleven new COVID-19 patients were diagnosed today, raising the total number of cases to 471.

Health Services Director General Dr. Anil Jasinghe said of the 11 all but one were naval personnel from the Welisara camp. The remaining person was at the Kandakadu quarantine centre.

A total of 120 patients have been discharged after recovery, the statement added.
