Scan Products Division, an affiliate of the reputed C.W. Mackie Plc, received an upgrade from ISO 9001:2000 to the current ISO 9001:2008 certification and ISO 22000:2005 accreditation recently. This certification endorses the Company’s commitment to excellence and to upholding the highest quality standards across its services.
Mangala Perera, Chief Operating Officer, Scan Products Division said, “These certifications underscore our commitment to excellence, the passion towards the company, and dedication to elevating our status in the industry. These certifications will now speak for our competencies and adherence to global best practices.”
Scan Products is Sri Lanka’s largest manufacturer of bottled water and fruit squash. The company, incorporated in 1988, operates a bottling plant in Horana and currently produces an impressive quota of bottled drinking water and the very popular Sunquick Fruit Squash per month. This bottling plant is equipped with the latest state-of-the-art processing and automation equipment from Europe and is complimented by a team of highly skilled professionals.
Additionally the company takes utmost care in maintaining stringent environmental and energy efficiency and focuses on sustainable and profitable growth whilst adhering to global best practices.

He further stated that the company conforms to this stringent combination of ISO 2200, ISO 9001 and the Health Ministry Registration, plus their very own degree of international standards, and robust and foolproof guideline for food safety assurance systems and further promotes a continuing and increasing improvement in manufacturing practices.
