Richlife in new pack

Richlife, Sri Lanka’s leading dairy and fruit based consumer products manufacturer which pioneered the introduction of tetra-packed beverages, introduced its flagship one litre full cream processed fresh milk in a highly informative new pack recently.

The company said in a statement that the new Richlife Full Cream Fresh Milk is now creamier as it is made with 3.5% fat fresh milk and is also enriched with Vitamins A & D. The vitamins A & D used in Richlife Full Cream Fresh Milk are supplied by DSM Nutritional Product – the world’s largest European vitamins manufacturer.

Furthermore, Richlife Full Cream Fresh milk contains 100% goodness and richness of natural fresh cow’s milk, hygienically collected from locally reared cattle across the country, living in small herds, fed with natural fodder and taken genuine care by the company’s own dairy farmers.

To mark the introduction of the new pack, Richlife Dairies Chairman Kumar Perera presented the inaugural pack to Minister for Livestock and Rural Community Development Arumugam Thondaman at the Ministry office in Colombo.

To complement the Government’s initiatives in dairy development, the new pack was introduced with the intention of promoting fresh milk consumption among the general public, company sources revealed. Richlife Full Cream Fresh Milk is Ultra High Temperature (UHT) treated shelf stable ready to drink product.

“As a pioneering local dairy company, we have provided natural goodness and richness of pure fresh cow’s milk in UHT Tetra packs to the nation and upheld nutritional standards of our consumers over a decade. Richlife Full Cream Fresh Milk is now creamier and enriched with Vitamins A & D. It also stands testimony to our commitment to research, development and improve our products continuously to meets consumers’ nutritional requirements,” Richlife Dairies Executive Director Prasanna Perera said.

“We greatly appreciate initiatives of the Government in developing the local dairy industry and the continuous support and guidance given to us by the Minister of Livestock and Rural Community Development, Arumugam Thondaman, Secretary to the Ministry and staff,” he added.

In addition to the numerous nutritional benefits of this value added fresh milk product, the pack provides the consumer an opportunity learn about various aspects of the product, benefits of fresh milk along with creative suggestions on how it could be used. These new developments will definitely give solid reasons for direct consumers and customers who use it for preparation of various food items to use fresh milk.
