Rehabilitation program of Rajarata tanks begins

Under the instruction of the President Mahinda Rajapaksa, the Minister of Economic Development Basil Rajapaksa, recently inaugurated the program to renovate all dilapidated tanks and irrigation systems in the Rajarata area. 

At this occasion Minister commenced the rehabilitation works of 10 tanks in Horowpathana electorate division,  Anuradhapura East electorate division, Mihinthalaya electorate division and Kalawava electorate division. Under the Rajarata Tank rehabilitation programme around 1100 medium and minor irrigation schemes in North Central province will be renovated.  Ministers S.
