Nestlé Lanka launched its flagship kiosk Café Goodness through Nestlé Professional, Nestlé’s out-of-home food and beverage solutions provider, on 11 December.
Conveniently located at the Bloomfield Cricket and Athletic Club premises, Café Goodness is a one-stop solution for consumers seeking quick and tasty food and beverage options prepared from Nestlé products.
The kiosk was declared open by Bloomfield Cricket and Athletic Club Vice President, legendary cricketer Roshan Mahanama, Bloomfield Cricket and Athletic Club General Secretary Sudharma De Silva and legendary cricketer Chaminda Vaas, along with Nestlé Lanka Senior Vice President Sales Jagath Wedage and Nestlé Professional Vice President Roshan Perera.
“It gives us great pleasure to embark on a journey to enhance Nestlé’s out-of-home consumption experience. With the launch of Café Goodness, we hope to offer a unique space for our consumers to create good food moments out-of-home as they would at home. We have an exciting menu on offer, complemented by quality products, efficient service, great ambience, and the assurance of food safety,” said Nestlé Professional Vice President Roshan Perera.
As part of Nestlé’s efforts towards doing good for the community, the operation of this kiosk was handed over to an aspiring entrepreneur, Chef Prashan Kumara, who is experienced in both the food and beverage and service industries. The company will work closely with him and provide the necessary support on infrastructure, recipes, and training, to deliver the best out-of-home experience to its consumers. Nestlé also has plans of expanding this initiative by setting up more kiosks in the future and creating more opportunities for aspiring entrepreneurs.
