Hingalgoda Tea Factory re-establishes all-time record price

Hingalgoda Tea Factory situated in Hiniduma – Galle re-established an all-time record price at the weekly tea auctions held on 30 January.

An attractive price of Rs. 980 per kg for a PF1 grade in the Low Grown CTC category was achieved surpassing the previous best of Rs. 960. This line of tea was purchased by Regency Teas Ltd.

The commitment to produce a quality product by the Manager and Associates of the Hingalgoda Tea Factory has paid rich dividends.
