YNF to felicitate best performing entrepreneurs under SME program

The Youth to Nation Foundation (YNF), the CSR arm of Ceylon Guardian Investment Trust PLC and Ceylon Investment PLC under the Carson Cumberbatch group of companies, will host a program to felicitate star performers under its Young Entrepreneur Development initiative.  

Titled ‘Moment of Truth’, the event which will take place at the Lakshman Kadirgamar Institute on Friday will recognise over 10 beneficiaries under the program who have excelled in their individual spheres. 

YNF was incorporated as a Guarantee Limited Company under the Companies Act No. 07 of 2007, to undertake a long-term approach to develop the right skills and persona to prepare youth for the emerging world of work, plus, create a conducive environment for young entrepreneurs to accelerate their business plan by providing seed capital and business incubator for mentoring, management and technical skills enhancement. Working in partnerships with regional chambers of commerce, divisional secretariats and SME development agencies, the YNF program has empowered hundreds or young entrepreneur, students and workers across several provinces. The initiative involves supporting a select batch of promising young entrepreneurs each year, based on their business track record, future growth potential and potential for socioeconomic value creation.
