TAJ welcomes top Russian delegation

The delegation from Russia were warmly welcomed by Taj Samudra, Colombo Hotel Manager Pulkesin Mohan this morning at the hotel.

The Russia-Sri Lanka Friendship Society arrived in Sri Lanka for strengthening the bilateral relationship further between the countries. The highlight of this visit will be the ‘Unveiling of the Bust of Yuri Gagarin, the First Cosmonaut’, which will take place at the Public Library Premises on 25 January.

The delegation from Russia were Friendship Society with Sri Lanka president, the space pilot and Mayor of Star City Tokarev Valery Ivanovich, Friendship Society with Sri Lanka vice president and Russian-Sri Lanka Business Council co-chairman Ryzhkov Alexey Petrovich, Board Chairman and Board of Directors of Seven Suns Chairman Ryzhkov Pyotr Alekseevich, Board Deputy Chairman and RAIC Secretary General Polozkov Vladimir Mikhailovich and Russia-Sri Lanka Friendship Society Board Member Sergey Ryzhkov.
