Sri Lanka Tourism welcomes Barmy Army

The Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau (SLTPB) collaborated with Dilmah Tea this week to provide Ceylon Tea to cricket fans arriving in the country to witness the England–Sri Lanka home series.

The counter, maintained by the SLTPB at Bandara-naike International Airport, featured a tea lounge where tourists had an opportunity to sample and sip Ceylon Tea at leisure. Tired and weary long-haul travelers were treated to a soothing warm cup of tea. It has been recorded that nearly 10 000 fans had been served tea at this counter during the three days from 4-6 November.
