ONYX Hospitality Group announced the appointment of Puneet Dutta to the position of General Manager of Amari Galle. Having joined ONYX Hospitality Group as Resort Manager at Amari Havodda Maldives during its pre-opening stages in 2015, Puneet was strategically moved to Amari Galle in the same year as pre-opening Hotel Manager to launch the Amari brand in Sri Lanka. 

Puneet played a key role in the successful launch of the first Amari hotel in Sri Lanka, creating unique experiences for guests, both leisure and corporate. He constantly evaluated business trends to stay ahead of competition, envisioning long-term sustainability to drive revenue and profitability. 

Today, under his leadership, Amari Galle is positioned as one of the top resorts on the southern coast of Sri Lanka, offering the best of Asian hospitality. 

With a rich knowledge of over two decades, and having worked in almost every aspect of hotel operations, in his new capacity, Puneet will continue to lead his passionate team, giving them strategic direction to continue adding value to the Amari brand while maintaining its competitive success.
