Presentation to new UNWTO Secretary General

The newly-elected Secretary General of the United Nations World Tourism Organisation, Zurab Pololikashvili of Georgia was presented a commemorative plaque on behalf of the Minister of Tourism Development John Amaratunga. The presentation was made by his Senior Advisor Felix Rodrigo soon after the appointment was announced at the 22nd General Assembly held in Chengdu, China recently. The new UNWTO Secretary General also accepted an invitation extended by Minister Amaratunga to visit Sri Lanka.
