Mastercard announced the extension of the globally acclaimed LoungeKey airport access program to all World and Platinum Mastercard cardholders in Sri Lanka.

Turning airports into destinations in themselves, Mastercard has included a world of benefits and privileges under this program. Travellers can now enjoy complimentary membership to over 850 airport lounges in more than 300 cities in over 120 countries with their World or Platinum Mastercard. Cardholders and guests travelling with them can catch a quick break and relish the complimentary refreshments and snacks. They will have access to a host of other amenities including business facilities, internet, phones, fax machines and conference space.

Cardholders can access all these privileges without a separate membership card and regardless of the airline they fly, the ticket they hold or the affinity program they are a member of.

They can learn more about the program and search for useful lounge information such as location, available amenities, operating hours, guest policies and more using the Mastercard Airport Experiences provided by LoungeKey app which is available for free download on both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.

“Our world-class, secure payment solutions continue to offer greater convenience and peace of mind to the growing number of Sri Lankans travelling around the world for business and leisure. While we indulge them with a world of benefits, privileges and rewards both at home and abroad, we sought to help them make the most of their time at the airport too. Hence, we are delighted to bring the LoungeKey airport access program to our World and Platinum Mastercard cardholders in Sri Lanka. We look forward to seeing them unwind with their guests at any of the over 850 partner lounges,” said R.B. Santosh Kumar, Country Manager – Sri Lanka and Maldives, Mastercard.

Mastercard invites cardholders in Sri Lanka to wait for their flights in the comfort of some of the world’s most preferred airport lounges with the complimentary LoungeKey membership which comes with their World and Platinum Mastercard.
