Avani Bentota Resort & Spa appoints General Manager

Avani Bentota Resort & Spa, Sri Lanka is delighted to announce the appointment of Urs Platz as the hotel’s new General Manager. Urs joins the organisation with a wealth of invaluable hospitality experience spanning an impressive 24 years. 

Having worked in Europe and the Middle East heading several pre-opening teams in the position of General Manager for leading international chains such as Hyatt Regency, Novotel and Hilton; Urs brings to Avani Bentota extensive knowledge of international best practices in hotel operations.
