Viper (Jnr) to coach CH & FC

Viper (Jnr) Gunaratne will be the Head Coach of the CH & FC rugby outfit taking over from Ronny Ibrahim for the 2019/2020 rugby season.

Viper (Jnr) represented Katugastota Antonians and later played for Kandy SC and the national XV’s and sevens outfit.

Viper at school level handled St. Anthony’s, Dharmaraja, S Thomas’, St. Joseph’s and Isipathana. Arguably the most qualified World Rugby (WR) Accredited Level Three Coach Educator is a balanced personality with qualification plus the practical knowledge in Sri Lanka. At club level he handled the Army outfit last year.

Mothilal Jayathilake was appointed as Strength and Conditioning Coach

Meanwhile another Kandy product, Mothilal Jayathilake, will be the Strength and Conditioning Coach of the CH & FC outfit for 2019/2020.

Mothilal was with the Sailors for a number of years handling their rugby as the Head Coach.
