Sri Lanka at boxing championships in Kuwait

Sri Lanka will participate at the inaugural ASBC Asian Confederation Schoolboys Boxing Championships in Kuwait City which got underway yesterday and will continue till 9 August.

The competition is for boxers who were born in 2005 and in 2006 or aged 13 or 14 years and will be conducted in 14 weight class from 33-35 kg to +70 kg. There were six schoolboys in the touring squad.
