Special OCA coffee table book unveiled

A special coffee table book with commemorative stamps issued by the postal department of Asian countries with regard to sports events conducted by the respective nations was produced, on the advice of the President of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) Sheikh Fahad Al-Sabah, by the President of the National Olympic Committee of Sri Lanka Hemasiri Fernando.

The book, titled ‘Asian Sports through the eyes of the Philatelist’, was compiled by Fernando after over eight years of research. This coffee table book was officially presented to the OCA President by Fernando at the 36th General Assembly of the Olympic Council held in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan.
