Singer League 2019 Cup Segment Wesley end Joes’ unbeaten run

Dark horse of the Singer League 2019, Wesely College put a stop to St. Joseph College’s unbeaten run in the league when they edged them out by a 15 points (3 tries) to 13 points (2 tries, 1 penalty) win at Longdon Place yesterday. It was Joes who led 10/5 at the short breather.

The referee was Rohan Fernando.

There will be two matches down for decision today. Royal will host Trinity in their second leg of the 75th Bradby Shield. Elsewhere in Bambalapitiya, St. Peter’s will host Isipathana.
