SLKC Karting Wasanthaya 2019 kicks off in N’Eliya

SLKC Karting Wasanthaya, the first-ever karting experience to hit the hill country, kicked off with great celebration under the auspices of Mayor of Nuwara Eliya Chandana Lal Karunaratne, Nuwara Eliya District Secretary Rohana Pushpakumara, David Pieris Racing and Leisure Ltd. (DPRL) Managing Director Naalaka Madugalle, and David Pieris Motor Company Divisional Manager Lakmal de Silva at Car Park 4, Upper Lake Road, Nuwara Eliya. 

David Pieris Racing and Leisure Ltd., who own and operate Sri Lanka’s first international karting track in Bandaragama, are giving motor sports enthusiasts and visitors to Nuwara Eliya an opportunity to try out the thrilling experience of karting, which began yesterday and will continue till 22 April at ‘SLKC Karting Wasanthaya 2019’.

A fleet of several types of rental karts for different skill levels, including children, along with the required safety equipment and a mini track will be on offer for anyone who wants to try out the sport or simply have a thrilling, fun-filled experience.



SLKC Karting Wasanthaya 2019 will also showcase the extensive products and services offered by the David Pieris Group. Visitors can test drive the Bajaj QUTE, the first quadricycle to be introduced to Sri Lanka, or check out Europe’s No. 1 Racing bike, the KTM, brought to you by David Peiris Motor Company Ltd.
