SLC rewards top performers of Major Club Tier ‘A’ League

Player of the Tournament – Ashan Priyanjan of CCC

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) said that its Executive Committee has decided to recognise the efforts of the Top Performers of the Major Club Tier ‘A’ League Tournament 2019/20.

Accordingly, the Best Batsman of the Tournament Lahiru Udara of NCC and Best Bowler Duvindu Tillakaratne of BRC were offered a financial award of Rs. 450,000, each.

This is in addition to the Rs. 50,000 given to the respective players during the award presentation of the tournament.

The Player of the Tournament Ashan Priyanjan of CCC was awarded a sum of Rs. 100,000 and a car worth Rs. 2 million.

The awards were presented by SLC Secretary Mohan de Silva in the presence of Tournament Committee Chairman Bandula Dissanayake and Head of Domestic Cricket Chintaka Edirimanne.
