SLBC Sports Weekly program hosts Anura Tennekoon

The Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation (SLBC), the pioneer radio broadcaster in Sri Lanka interviewed Anura Tennekoon the former Sri Lanka cricket captain and former CEO of Sri Lanka Cricket on their new sports program ‘The Sports Weekly’ which is aired every Saturday at 7:05p.m. on the frequency of 97.4 and 97.6. The purpose of the program is to provide up-to-date sports information to the listeners both locally and around the world.

SLBC featured Nelson Mendis in an earlier program and will be featuring Sidath Wettimuny in the near future. The program is presented by Amitha Abeynaike and Chandana De Silva.
