Former Isipathana and CR&FC player Omalka Gunaratne will lead the national XV rugby team for the Malaysian tour.

Sri Lanka will play two matches on 2 and 4 May on tour. Omalka Gunaratne will have Kavindu Perera as his deputy on tour.

The Sri Lanka outfit will be coached by New Zealander Matt Lee with Fazil Marija and Viraj Prasanna assisting him on tour.
