Old Trinitians Rugby Scrummage AGM on 26 September

The Old Trinitians Rugby Scrummage will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 26 September at the CR & FC Club House at Longdon Place. Kick-off is scheduled at 10 a.m. Channa Pathirana, the 1989 Trinity outfit second rower, is expected to lead once more with support coming his way from his Vice Presidents Ashan Ratwatte and Thakshala Hettiarchchi. 

Ashan Ratwatte led the Trinity outfit in 1983 to a Bradby Shield win. Meanwhile, Thakshala played for Trinity in both 1987 and 1988, later going on to represent the national youth outfit. 

Top class athlete, rugby player and Ryde Gold Medalist Asanka Ranhotty is expected to continue with the vital Treasurer position with the ever-green Amil Ramanathan to be the Secretary once more. Amil is omnipresent both in cricket and rugby foundations of the Kandy school.
