Kotte District Football League

The Football Federation of Sri Lanka with Kotte District Football Clubs jointly organised the 2019 Kotte District Football League F. A. Challenge Trophy and the first round final tournament was held at the Moragasmulla Janaka Ranawaka Playground recently.

Fifteen teams participated at this tournament and Obeysekerapura Sports Club beat Sarasavi Sports Club by 2-1 in the final. Captain of the champion team D.K.L. Malinda and runners-up team captain Danuka Dananjaya received balls from Sri Lanka Football Federation President Anura De Silva. 

Member of Kotte Municipal Council Samantha Pieris, Krishantha Cooray and Moragasmulla Sport Club Coach and Chief Organiser of the Tournament D.H. Chandrapala were also present.
