Kingswood notch up third win

Kingswood College registered their third win of the season in the Singer League Under-19 rugby competition when the beat St. Anthony’s College, Kandy at the Nittawela Rugby Stadium yesterday.

They beat St. Anthony’s College by 27 points (2 goals, 2 tries, 1 penalty) to 12 points (1 goal, 1 try). 

At halftime the scores were tied at 12. The referee for the game was Priya Suranga.

This was Kingswood’s third win after they beat Trinity College and S. Thomas’ Mount Lavinia. They occupy third position behind Royal College and St. Joseph›s College. Fourth position is occupied by Trinity followed by the Antonians and Thomians. (SJ)
