Kastro to Coach Kandy

Former Kingswood, Kandy SC skipper, and Sri Lanka Under 19 Junior Coach and current Maliyadeva College Head Coach, Ananda Kasturiarachchi will be the Head Coach for the Kandy Under 19 unit in their annual rugby encounter against the Colombo outfit later next month. There will be two games played, one in Kandy and the other in Colombo.

These two matches will be used as a yardstick to select the national Under 19 outfit for the Taipei tour which will take place in December 2019. Hong Kong will be the defending champions dominating the event for the last decade.

Colombo combined schools will be coached by Dushanth Lewke who was appointed as the Under 19 National Coach last month. He is the current Royal head Coach. Hong Kong, Taipei, South Korea, and Sri Lanka will lock horns in the round robin.
