Junior Rugby Carnival in Anuradhapura

More than 800 players ranging from Under 8 up to Under 16 will lock horns in the Annual Rugby Carnival which will take place today (15 December) at the Anuradhapura Rugby Stadium.

Teams from Sri Lions, RPF, HARFA, Kandy Rugby Academy, Kandy SC Rugby Academy, Vidura, G Bees, Tigers, Pandura, Palians and President will feature teams from under 8 up to Under 16 events.

Western Province will be represented with 540 players followed by Central Province with 231 and North Western Province the hosts fielding 81 players for this event. 

Former Royalist and one of the leading referees in the ‘90s, Shamrath Fernando will be the Match Coordinator.
