Fairfirst Insurance has announced the renewal of its partnership with the Colombo Colts Cricket Club as its official sponsor for 2020.
The partnership, which commenced in 2017, was renewed for the third year, with the objective of recognising sportsmanship and nurturing sports.
Speaking about the partnership with the Colombo Colts Cricket Club, Fairfirst Insurance Managing Director and CEO Dr. Sanjeev Jha stated: “I believe sports is a great way to bring people together, encourage healthy lifestyles, break boundaries and make our world a happier place. The Colombo Colts Cricket Club has been instrumental in producing some of the best-known cricketers to the country such as Roy Dias, Chaminda Vaas, Romesh Kaluwitharana and Angelo Mathews. The Colts Cricket Academy trains promising young players from neighbouring schools and utilises the services of reputed coaches. Several outstanding women cricketers who represent the national team are also part of the club’s women’s wing.
